The Dalla Valle vineyard has its own logic — a plateau above the valley floor where the geology shifts, the temperature accumulates differently, and the vines that have been rooted here for decades, are becoming one with our land. That specificity constitutes the essence of the wines we make.
We consider that wine is made first by feel — by walking the blocks and listening to what the vines are telling us, by standing in the cellar and tending to what each barrel is asking for. We have numbers, of course. Technical markers that offer guidance and confirmation. But the numbers are not making the wine. Taste does.
Each wine already knows, at harvest, what it wants to become. Our role is simply to guide it there — to clear the way for the wine to express itself, honestly and completely.
